How to enter Google Nexus 4 Recovery Mode, Hard reset / Wipe and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern.

Recovery Mode Google Nexus 4

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Down key and Power key the same time until the phone turn on and you will see word “Start” with an arrow around it
3. Use Volume down key to select “Recovery Mode” and press Power key to confirm
4. When you see android robot, Pres and hold Power key, while pressing Power key press and release Volume up key once and release all keys.
5. Use Volume keys to select Menu
6. Use Power key to Confirm

Hard reset Google Nexus 4 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, use volume down key to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Power key to confirm
3. Use volume down key to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press Power key to confirm
5. Select Reboot system now
6. Press Power key to confirm.

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset Phone
7. Select Erase Everything
8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
