1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume up key and power key for a few seconds
3. Release all key when android logo appears on the screen
4. Use Volume keys to select and power key to confirm

Hard reset Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Q462 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, Use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Power key to confirm selection
3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press power key to confirm selection
5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
6. Press Power key to confirm selection

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything
