How to enter Motorola Moto G XT1036 Recovery Mode, Hard reset and Remove Unlock Pattern.

Recovery Mode Motorola Moto G XT1036 for Android Lollipop

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key and Power key for about 3 seconds then release
  3. From the “Boot Mode Selection Menu” screen, select Recovery and press Volume Up key to confirm selection
  4. When android logo appears ( No command screen ), press and hold power key then press and release Volume up key to enter Recovery Mode
  5. Use Volume keys to select Menu and Use Power key to Confirm

Recovery Mode for Android KitKat

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press and hold Volume Down key about 3 second, while pressing the key then press and hold Power key for a while and release
  3. In the Fastboot mode use Volume key to select Recovery and press Volume Up key to confirm selection
  4. When android logo appears, press and hold Volume up key for a while, while pressing this key, press and release Power key to enter Recovery Mode.
  5. Use Volume keys to select Menu
  6. Use Power key to Confirm

Hard reset using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

  1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
  2. Press Power key to confirm
  3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
  4. Press power key to confirm
  5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
  6. Press power key to confirm

Hard reset using Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Backup and reset
  5. Select Factory data reset
  6. Select Reset device
  7. Select Erase Everything or Reset phone

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
