How to hard reset Samsung Galaxy A2 Core and enter Recovery Mode, Soft reset, Download Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys ( hard reset ) and from Settings menu ( soft reset ). Make sure to backup your important data, the data can not be recovered.
Recovery Mode Samsung Samsung Galaxy A2 Core
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume UP key while pressing the key then press and hold Power key for a while
- Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appears ( Android 7: you will see Android logo with “No command” text, wait a moment and you don’t need press any keys ) then you will see Android System Recovery
- Use Volume keys to select Menu
- Use Power key to Confirm
Download Mode or ODIN Mode
- Turn off the device
- Connect the USB Cable to PC
- Press and hold Volume Up and Down keys while pressing these keys, connect the phone to USB Cable
- Release all key when you see ODIN Mode / Download Mode
- Use Volume Up key to continue
- Use Volume Down key to cancel ( Restart the device )
Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

- In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
- Press Power key to confirm
- Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
- Press power key to confirm

- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Backup and reset ( Android 7: General Management )
- Select Factory data reset ( Android 7: Reset )
- Select Reset device ( Android 7: Factory data reset )
- Select Erase Everything ( Android 7: Reset )
