How to hard reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and enter Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, Bootloader mode, Soft reset. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu. Make sure to backup your important data, the data can not be recovered.
Mi-Recovery Mode Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key
- Release Power key when logo appears but keep pressing Volume Up key
- Release Volume Up key when Mi-Recovery Appears
- Use Volume keys to select and Power key to confirm
Fastboot Mode
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
- Release all key when Fastboot Mode appears

Soft reset using Settings Menu
- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Additional settings
- Select Backup and reset
- Select Factory data reset
- Select Reset phone wait 10 seconds
- Select Next wait 10 seconds
- Select OK
If you can not enter Android system normally, you can reset it to factory default ( factory reset ) setting via hardware keys ( hard reset ). If you perform a hard reset, you can not backup your data.
