How to Install ALT-F4 v1.0 OneUI 2.0 Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 10. This ROM is built Based on A505FNXXU5BTL3 firmware and also PRISH KERNEL. This Custom Rom for A50 is developed by el0xren@XDA. Smooth and Optimized Base (for gaming, cause all unnecessary services are removed). This ROM is heavily debloated and optimized for best user experience, keep in mind that many features are removed due performance lacking. To install this Custom ROM, your phone must be installed TWRP Custom Recovery and rooted. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.

Download

  1. Your phone must be Installed TWRP Recovery for Android 10. If not, you can read How to Flash TWRP on Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F Android 10 Q.
  2. Download {ROM}{OneUI-2.0}{A50} ALT-F4 v1.0.zip
  3. Copy ROM and Vendor to SD Card ( recommended )

How to Install ALT-F4 v1.0 OneUI 2.0 on Samsung Galaxy A50 :

  1. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off; Press and hold Volume Up key + Power key, when samsung logo appears release power key only, keep pressing volume up until TWRP recovery appears
  2. Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
  3. Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “Dalvik, Cache, System” ) Swipe to Wipe
  4. Copy Prish OS zip from PC to Phone and install it ( ignore this if you have copied to sd card )
  5. Select Install ( If the file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – select {ROM}{OneUI-2.0}{A50} ALT-F4 v1.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  6. Select Reboot – System
  7. Setup the Phone

Rooting if necessary

If you want to uninstall this custom ROM and back to stock ROM, just flash the stock ROM to your device. Flashing stock ROM will also uninstall TWRP Recovery and it will back to stock Android Recovery.

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, flash custom rom and Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status!
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
