Custom ROM: How to Install Corvus v12 Official Android 11 on Redmi Note 8 Pro – Begonia. Corvus OS is another retarded ROM with many retarded Customization. It’s inspired by Dirty Unicorns (thanks to Alex Cruz), but then picked many other features too. This rom objectives are a stable and feature ROM that can be enjoyed by many devices. It used Anti-brick Factory Preloader installed before flash TWRP CFW Recovery. Do this at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
What is CFW?
CFW is a combination of multiple Xiaomi firmware packages. CFW enables you to use the new builds without worrying about bricks while running newer proprietary vendor software. These builds are unified for all variants of the Redmi Note 8 Pro and have pretty much all issues fixed at this point. The CFW contains firmware files from the latest A9 and latest A10 firmware image. Along with this, the CFW also installs the factory preloader and bootloader (LK) to make sure you’re safe when modifying your device. Source – XDA Forums.
Download and Installed

- Download Corvus_v12.0-R-Beta-Athrill-begonia-Gapps-19122020-Oficial-0720.zip
- Download begonia-A10-CFW_20200530.zip ( for Android 10 )
- Download begonia-A11-CFW_20210105.zip ( for Android 11 )
- Download begonia-A11-CFW-vendor-20201128.zip ( if necessary )
- Download latest Open GAPPS for Android 10 ( if necessary )
- Download latest Open GAPPS for Android 11 ( if necessary )
- Download Magisk-v20.4.zip or latest ( if necessary )
- Download MagiskManager-v7.5.1.apk or latest ( if necessary )
- Copy all files to External SD Card ( Recommended )
Install Instructions on Redmi Note 8 Pro:
Make sure the Redmi Note 8 Pro Installed Anti-brick Factory Preloader and installed CFW Recovery.
STEP 1 : Enter Factory Preloader and TWRP Recovery
- Turn Power off
- Press and Hold volume Up + power key. When phone vibrate once, release power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until Factory Preloader appears
- Use volume up to select “Recovery Mode” and press Volume Down to confirm
STEP 2 : Flashing ROM
- Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “Dalvik, Cache, System” ), Swipe to Wipe
- Select Install – select begonia-A11-CFW_20210105.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash ( Ignore this if you have installed before )
- Select Install – select Corvus_v12.0-R-Beta-Athrill-begonia-Gapps-19122020-Oficial-0720.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Install – select begonia-A11-CFW-vendor-20201128.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Wipe – Format Data, type “yes” and Confirm
- Select Reboot – System
Install GApps if necessary
- Enter TWRP Recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold volume Up + power key When phone vibrate once, release power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until Factory Preloader appears. Use volume up to select “Recovery Mode” and press Volume Down to confirm ( It may be direct to TWRP Recovery )
- Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “System” ) – Repair or Change File System – Resize File System – Swipe to Resize
- Select Mount – ( select “System, Vendor” ), Back to home
- Select Install ( If file in SD Card: Select Storage – Micro SD card – OK ) – select open_gapps-arm64-11.0-nano-xxxxxxx.zip Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Reboot – System
Rooting if necessary
- Enter TWRP Recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold volume Up + power key When phone vibrate once, release power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until Factory Preloader appears ( It may be direct to TWRP Recovery )
- Select Install – select Magisk-v20.4.zip Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Reboot – System
- Done!
