Download LineageOS 20 for Redmi Note 12
- Your phone must be Installed TWRP FBE v2. If not, you can read How to Install TWRP 3.7.0 for Redmi Note 12 released: 231111
- Download lineage-20.0-20240126-UNOFFICIAL-topaz.zip
- Download preflash.zip
- Download RO2RW-v3.7.2.1_fullRW_Dfe.zip
- Download NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20230621-signed.zip or latest
- Download Magisk: Magisk.apk or latest rename it to Magisk.zip ( if necessary )
- Copy ROM to SD Card ( Recommended )
Install Instructions LineageOS 20 for Redmi Note 12
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Mi logo appears release all keys.
- First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
- Select Install – select preflash.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Install – select lineage-20.0-20240126-UNOFFICIAL-topaz.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Advanced – Flash Current TWRP, Swipe to Confirm
- Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
- Select Reboot – Recovery
- Select Install – select RO2RW-v3.7.2.1_fullRW_Dfe.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
- Select Reboot – Recovery
- Select Install – select NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20230621-signed.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Wipe – Advanced ( data, metadata, dalvik, cache ), Swipe to wipe
- Select Reboot – System
- Setup the Phone
How to Install GApps ( if necessary )
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Mi logo appears release all keys.
- Select Install – select RO2RW-v3.7.2.1_fullRW_Dfe.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
- Select Reboot – Recovery
- Select Install – select NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20230621-signed.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Reboot – System
How to Root ( if necessary )
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Mi logo appears release all keys
- Install Magisk.zip
- Reboot to System
- Connect Phone to Internet
- Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
- Done

Enter TWRP Recovery
You can enter TWRP recovery with 2 methods: via adb command by type “adb reboot recovery” and by pressing keys combinations ( Turn power off, press and hold volume up + Power key, when Mi logo appears release all keys.
