- Skip this is you want to flash GSI Image. Your phone must be Installed TWRP Recovery. If not, you can read How to Flash TWRP 3.7.0 on Samsung Galaxy A51 SM-A515F Android 13 U8 A515FXXU8HWI1 Firmware ( Recommended )
- Read this is you want to install GSI Image. If you can not see “System” partition, you can read How to Install Generic System Image (GSI) on Samsung Galaxy A51 – U8 Bootloader ( Recommended )
- Download LineageOS-22.1-20250210-GAPPS-EXT4-GSI.7z ( extract it to get img file )
- Download NikGapps ( if necessary ), it depend on your android version, recommended core version.
- Copy ROM to SD Card (recommended)
How to Flash LineageOS 22.1 on Samsung Galaxy A51
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off; Press and hold Volume Up + Power Key then quickly Connect phone to computer, when Samsung Logo appears release all keys
- Select Wipe – Format data ( type “yes” and confirm )
- Select Wipe – Advanced wipe ( select “Dalvik, Data, Cache” ) – Swipe to wipe
- Select Install – Install Image – select LineageOS-22.1-20250210-GAPPS-EXT4-GSI.img – select “System Image” and Swipe to confirm flash
- Select Reboot – System
Rooting if necessary
- Connect Phone to Internet
- Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
- Done
Install GApps if necessary
- Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off; Connect phone to computer then quickly Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when Samsung Logo appears release all keys
- Select Install – select NikGapps-core-arm64-14-20231107-signed.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Reboot – System

If something goes wrong and you want to unroot it, just flash the ROM to make it works again.
Notes / Warning!
- Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
- Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
- If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
- If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
- If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
- If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
- Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
