How to Flash TWRP 3.6.0 for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F. The TWRP 3.6.0 work for Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F Android 8.1.0 Oreo. TWRP bug: can not mount Micro SD Card, so you must copy twrp and Disable_Dm-Verity to internal storage.  After installed TWRP you can root it or flashing custom rom.  Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.

Download TWRP for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F

  1. Extract (unzip) the firmware file ( AP, BL, CP, CSC )
  2. Enable Developer Options: go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
  3. Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging options ( Settings -> Developer options )
  4. Download and Extract ODIN v3.13.1 from https://odindownload.com/SamsungOdin/
  5. Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phone Drivers
  6. Download twrp-3.6.0_9-on7xelte.tar
  7. Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip

How to Flash TWRP for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F

  1. Enable Developer Options: go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
  2. Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging options ( Settings -> Developer options )
  3. Enter Download Mode: Turn Power off the phone, Press and hold Volume Down key + Home key then press and hold Power key, Release all key when Download Mode / Odin Mode appears then Press and release Volume Up key
  4. Connect phone to Computer
  5. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
  6. Flashing twrp-3.6.0_9-on7xelte.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
  7. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! To get out of Download mode and Enter TWRP Recovery mode: Press and hold Volume Down + Home key + then Power key and when the screen blanks quickly press and hold  press Volume Up + Home key and Power key. Release all keys when Galaxy J7 Prime logo appears.
  8. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
  9. Copy Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip to phone.
  10. Select Install – Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash. You must install this file to avoid boot loop and Decrypt data partition.
  11. Select Reboot to System
  12. Done
