How to install Android 8.0.0 Oreo on Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo SM-J720M :

  1. Extract (unzip) the firmware file. Download at https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/SM-J720M/
  2. Download Odin http://odindownload.com/SamsungOdin/
  3. Extract Odin ZIP file
  4. Open Odin
  5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode ( Turn Power off the phone, Press and hold Volume Down key + Bixby key + Power Key for a while, Release all key when Download Mode / Odin Mode appears )
  6. Connect the phone to PC with USB Cable Data, then Press and release Volume Up key
  7. Wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
  8. Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
  9. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
  10. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Warning!

  1. Make sure to backup your data, It will erase all the data.
