OrangeFox Recovery for Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F Android 11.  How to Root Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F Android 11 with Magisk + OrangeFox ( OneUI 3.1 ). It may be works for SM-A505F, SM-A505FN, SM-A505G, SM-A505GN. The OrangeFox R11.0 comes with Magisk Patched. Use it at your own risk! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Flashing OrangeFox Recovery and Root Galaxy A50 Android 11:

    1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
    2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
    3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
    4. Flashing OrangeFox-R11.0-Stable-a50dd_magisk.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
    5. OrangeFox is now successfully flashed to your device! Several steps before you can properly use the device.
    6. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when Samsung Logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up key until OrangeFox Recovery Appears.
    7. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
    8. Select Files – select multidisabler-samsung-2.6.zip Swipe to Install
    9. Select Reboot to Recovery
    10. When SAMSUNG logo appears wait for a few minutes or more then press and hold volume down + power key until the screen blank
    11. Setup the phone

Rooting if necessary

    1. Connect Phone to Internet
    2. Tap Magisk app: “Upgrade to full Magisk to finish the setup. Download and Install?” tap OK
    3. Install and Open Magisk Manager, Magisk Manager will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
    4. Done! You can use Root Checker to check it, Enjoy!

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
