How to Root Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F CUE4-U8 Firmware Android 11. The TWRP Recovery support Galaxy A50 One UI 3.1 Android 11 firmware, Android security patch level: 1 June 2021. It may be works for SM-A505F, SM-A505FN, SM-A505G, SM-A505GN. The TWRP 3.5.0 comes with Magisk Patched. Use it at your own risk! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Flashing TWRP v3.5.0 and Root Galaxy A50 CUE4-U8 firmware Android 11 :

    1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
    2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
    3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
    4. Flashing TWRP_v3.5.0_A505_A11_Magisk.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
    5. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when Samsung Logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up key until TWRP Recovery Appears.
    6. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
    7. Copy multidisabler_samsung.zip to phone, ignore this if you copied to SD Card
    8. Select Install – select multidisabler_samsung.zip Swipe to confirm Flash
    9. Select Reboot to System
    10. When SAMSUNG logo appears wait for a few minutes or more then press and hold volume down + power key until the screen blank
    11. Setup the phone
    12. Connect Phone to Internet and Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out. Don’t restart the phone if you don’t see it.

Rooting if necessary

    1. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn power off, Connect the phone with a USB cable, Press and hold Volume Up + Power Key until TWRP Recovery Mode Appears.
    2. Select Reboot to Recovery
    3. Connect Phone to Internet
    4. Open Magisk
    5. Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
    6. Done

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
