How to Flash TWRP and Root Galaxy A52 SM-A525F AUE2 Firmware

How to Flash TWRP and Root Galaxy A52 SM-A525F AUE2 BIT-2 Firmware Android 11. The TWRP Recovery support Galaxy A52 One UI 3.1 Android 11 firmware, Android security patch level: 1 June 2021. Tested on Samsung Galaxy A52 SM-A525F. It used The TWRP 3.5.2, custom kernel and latest Magisk version. It may be not easy for some users.  Use it at your own risk! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Download and Terms

  1. The phone bootloader must be unlocked, if not read How to unlock bootloader Galaxy A52
  2. Download TWRP twrp-3.5.2_10-0-a52q.tar
  3. Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_20210320.zip
  4. Download Kakarot-UNI-1-A52-2021-05-13-23-11.zipsafetynet-fix-v1.1.1.zip
  5. Download Magisk-v23.0.apk stable Rename to Magisk-v23.0.zip
  6. Copy ROM to SD Card

Flashing Instructions

  1. Make sure the bootloader unlocked, the OEM Unlocking option is grey out
  2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
  3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
  4. Flashing twrp-3.5.2_10-0-a52q.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
  5. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key until red warning “This phone is not running Samsung’s official software…” disappears. Then release all keys. It will take more time than usual until TWRP recovery appears.
  6. Select Install – select Kakarot-UNI-1-A52-2021-05-13-23-11.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  7. Select Install – select Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_20210320.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
  8. Select Install – select Magisk-v23.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash ( Ignore this if you don’t want to root it )
  9. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
  10. Select Reboot to System
  11. Setup the phone
  12. Done!

Rooting

If something goes wrong and you want to unroot it, just flash the ROM to make it works again.

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
