Read US/Canada bootloader unlock

Flash Instructions: TWRP for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G

    1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
    2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
    3. Flash vbmeta_disabled.tar in AP slot and reboot. Device will reboot to stock recovery mode prompting you to wipe data, wipe data and reboot to download mode again.
    4. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
    5. Flashing TWRP as AP in ODIN, then click start.
    6. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when yellow tri-angel appears release power key only, keep pressing volume up until TWRP Recovery Mode appears
    7. Select Install – select multidisabler-samsung-3.x.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
    8. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
    9. Select Reboot to Recovery
    10. Select Install – select Magisk.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
    11. Select Reboot to System
    12. Done

Notes / Warning!

  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
