How to enter Allview A4 You Recovery Mode, Hard reset (Wipe) and Pattern Unlock.
Recovery Mode Allview A4 You
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume UP key and Power key for a while
- Release all key when Android logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
- Use Volume keys to select Menu
- Use Power key to Confirm
Hard reset Allview A4 You using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )
- In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
- press Power key to confirm
- select Yes — delete all user data, press power key to confirm
- select Reboot system now to finish hard reset
Hard reset using Settings Menu
- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Backup and reset
- Select Factory data reset
- Select Reset device
- Select Erase Everything
- Select Ok
Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

I have only update and reboot in recovery. How do i hard reset? Pattern is lost and I cannot factory default it.

i Did, but i have only 4 menus: Reboot, update from ADB, update from SDcard, Update from SDCARD1, update from cache, nothing else… There’s no wipe/factory default. I’ve upgraded to .31 but the pattern is still there. Android is kitkat now, but that doesn’t solve my issue.
I think your boot loader is locked. we can not enter the recovery mode when boot loader is locked. I try to find some information for this device but there is no info about it, sorry.
