How to enter Archos 80 XS Recovery Mode, Hard Reset and Pattern Unlock.

Recovery Mode Archos 80 XS

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume UP key
3. When keep pressing Volume Up key then plug power adapter into the device
4. Release all key when Recovery mode appears
5. Use Volume keys to scroll and Power key to confirm

Hard reset Archos 80 XS

1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset using Volume key
2. Press Power key to confirm
3. select Yes — delete all user data, press Power key to confirm
4. select Reboot system now and press Power key to finish hard reset.

Warning! Make sure to back up your important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset and Restore it to factory default settings.

1. Hi, i have had an Archos 8o xs tablet for a few years now. Haven’t used it for a few months and i can’t log in bc I can’t remember the password. I have tried the hard core reset several times but it won’t work, all it does is show the android logo but not the Recovery mode. What can i do?

   • I suggest you to flash the ROM
