How to enter Asus Zenfone 3s Max ZC521TL Recovery Mode, Hard reset / Wipe and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern.

Recovery Mode Asus Zenfone 3s Max ZC521TL

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume up key and then press and hold Power Key for a while
3. Release all key when Boot mode appears
4. Use Volume Down key to select Recovery and Press Power key to confirm
5. Hold down Power key when android logo appears on the screen
6. While pressing this key, press Volume Up key once to enter Recovery mode
7. Use Volume keys to select and Menu key or Power key to confirm selection

Hard reset Asus Zenfone 3s Max ZC521TL using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, Use Volume key to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Power key to confirm selection
3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press Power key to confirm selection
5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
6. Press Power key to confirm selection

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything or Delete All

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
