CAT B15Q

How to hard reset and enter CAT B15Q Recovery Mode, Hard reset, Soft reset (Wipe) and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu.

Recovery Mode CAT B15Q

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Up key and Power key about a few seconds ( 10 seconds )
3. When CATERPILLAR logo appears on your screen Release Power key only.
4. Keep holding Volume Up key until Android System Recovery Mode appears
5. Use Volume down key to select Menu and Use Volume Up key to Confirm

Hard reset CAT B15Q using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume down key to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Volume Up key to confirm
3. Use Volume down key to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press Volume Up key to confirm
5. Use Volume down key to select Reboot system now
6. Press Volume Up key to confirm

Soft reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything
8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
