How to enter Google Pixel XL Recovery Mode, Hard reset / Wipe, Bootloader Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern.

Recovery Mode Google Pixel XL

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Down Key, while pressing the key then press and release Power key
3. Select Recovery and press Power key to confirm
4. When android logo appears on the screen, press and hold Power key for a short while
5. While pressing the power key then press Volume Up key and release
6. Use Volume keys to select Menu
7. Use Power key to Confirm

Bootloader Mode or ODIN Mode

 

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Down Key, while pressing the key then press and release Power key
3. Now you should in the bootloader mode

 

Hard reset Google Pixel XL using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
2. Press Power key to confirm
3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
4. Press power key to confirm
5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
6. Press power key to confirm

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
