How to enter Lenovo A5000 Recovery Mode, Hard Reset (Wipe) and Pattern Lock recovery.

Recovery Mode Lenovo A5000

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a few seconds
3. Release all key when Android Recovery Mode appears
4. Use Volume keys to select
5. Use Power key to confirm

Hard reset Lenovo A5000 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
2. press power key to confirm
3. select Yes — delete all user data, press Power key to confirm
4. select Reboot system now to finish hard reset

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything
8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.  If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.

1. After update into lollipop my recovery mode is not working,no command.
   And the volume up and power button,chinese language i dont understand

   • On the no command screen. Press volume up and then you will see recovery mode.

2. HI i tried to hard reset my lenovo A5000 and its all written in chinese and Im failing to get back to the normal mode. What do I do?
