How to enter LG Nexus 5X Recovery Mode, Hard reset (Wipe) and Pattern Unlock.

Recovery Mode LG Nexus 5X

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume Down key and Power key for a while
3. Release all key when you see  a menu ( Fastboot Mode )
4. Press Volume Down key to select Recovery options and Press Power key to confirm
5. When you see android logo, press and hold Volume Up key and Power key for a while
6. Release when you see Recovery Mode
7. Use Volume keys to select Menu
8. Use Power key to Confirm or Execute Menu

Hard reset LG Nexus 5X using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
2. press Power key to confirm
3. select Yes — delete all user data, press Power key to confirm
4. select Reboot system now to finish hard reset

Hard reset via Settings menu

1. Open Settings menu
2. Tap General
3. Tap Backup and reset
4. Tap Factory data reset
5. Tap Reset device
6. Tap Erase everything
7. Tap OK

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.  If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
