Follow these instructions:
STEP 1
Download the latest MIUI ROM Redmi Note 8 Pro file Click here to download, Download the rom based on device model Global, Europe (EEA), Indonesia, Russia, India and China Stable ROM. There is no need to do it again if you’ve already downloaded the latest ROM file.
STEP 2
Connect your device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable, and copy the ROM file downloaded in Step 1 into the folder ‘downloaded_rom’ in the internal storage of your device.
STEP 3
- Open ‘Settings’ app on your device,
- select ‘About phone’,
- select ‘System update’,

How to enable “Choose update package” option on MIUI 10
If the option “Choose update package” does not appear or can not see. To enable it, go back to the previous menu and tap 10 times on the MIUI 11 logo. It will receive a prompt message “Additional update features are on” and now, when selecting Options, The option “Choose update package” will appear now.
