How to hard reset Motorola One and enter Recovery Mode, also Soft reset (Wipe) and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu. Make sure to back up your important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.
Recovery Mode Motorola One
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume Down key about 2 – 4 seconds
- Keep pressing the key and then Press Power key for a short while
- Release all key when Boot mode appears
- Select Recovery option with Volume keys and press Power key to confirm
- Press Power key and Volume up for a while when Android logo appears
- Use Volume Down key to select Menu
- Use Power key to Confirm or Execute Menu
Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
Hard reset Motorola One from external hardware key
- In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
- Press Power key to confirm
- Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
- Press power key to confirm
- Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
- Press power key to confirm
Soft reset using Settings Menu
- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Backup and reset
- Select Factory data reset
- Select Reset device
- Select Erase Everything
- Select Ok
