How to hard reset Samsung Galaxy M30 and enter Recovery Mode, Soft reset, Download Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys ( hard reset ) and from Settings menu ( soft reset ). Make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.
Samsung Galaxy M30 Recovery Mode
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key for a while
- Release all key when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
- Use Volume keys to select Menu
- Use Power key to Confirm
Samsung Galaxy M30 Download Mode or ODIN Mode
- Connected USB Cable to PC
- Turn Power off the phone
- Press and hold Volume Up + Down keys together then while pressing these keys connecting the phone to PC with USB Cable Data
- release all keys when Download Mode appears.
- Press Volume up to continue
Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset.
Hard reset Samsung Galaxy M30 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )
- In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
- Press Power key to confirm
- Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
- Press power key to confirm
- Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
- Press power key to confirm
Soft reset from Settings Menu
- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Select Backup and reset ( Android 7: General Management )
- Select Factory data reset ( Android 7: Reset )
- Select Reset device ( Android 7: Factory data reset )
- Select Erase Everything ( Android 7: Reset )
If you can not enter Android system normally, you can reset it to factory default ( factory reset ) setting via hardware keys ( hard reset ). If you perform a hard reset, you can not backup your data.
