How to hard reset Xiaomi Redmi S2 M1803E6C, M1803E6E, M1803E6T and enter Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, Bootloader mode, Soft reset. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys and from Settings menu.
Recovery Mode Xiaomi Redmi S2
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume Up key + Power Key
- Release all keys when Mi logo appears
- You should see Menus with yellow color background
- In Recovery Mode, tap a menu On the yellow area at the bottom corner to change to English language
- On the warning screen “WARNING: Do You Really Want to Enter Recovery Mode !?” Tap OK
- Wait a moment you will see Mi-Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
- Turn off the device
- Press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds
- Release all key when Fastboot Mode appears
How to Hard reset Xiaomi Redmi S2

- Turn on the device
- Select Apps
- Select Settings
- Additional settings
- Select Backup and reset
- Select Factory data reset
- Select Reset phone wait 10 seconds
- Select Next wait 10 seconds
- Select OK
Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
