How to install AOSP 12 for Poco X3 NFC (Surya) Android 12 Custom ROM Maintained By @ghostrider_reborn Updated 2021-11-29. Changelog : Merged November 2021 security patch (12.0.0_r13), Switched to user builds instead of userdebug, Added support for Google Play system updates, Updated kernel to latest CAF tag and new optimizations, read full changelog. AOSP 12 for Poco X3: Download and Terms

1. Your phone must be Installed Custom Recovery. If not, you can read How to Install TWRP 3.5.2 Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC – Permanent
2. Download aosp_surya-12-20211129-2131.zip
3. Download fw_surya_miui_SURYAGlobal_V12.5.3.0.RJGMIXM_624ada8a33_11.0.zip ( fw included in the rom )
4. Download latest BiTGApps-arm64-12.0.0-R39_signed.zip or latest ( if necessary )
5. Download GCAM 8.3 MOD for Xiaomi Phone
6. Download Magisk: Magisk-v23.0.apk or latest rename it to Magisk-v23.0.zip ( if necessary )
7. Copy ROM to SD Card ( Recommended )

AOSP 12 for Poco X3: Install Instructions

1. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
2. First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
3. Select Wipe – Advanced ( Dalvik, Cache, Data ), Swipe to wipe
4. Select Install – select aosp_surya-12-20211129-2131.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
5. Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm ( Optional )
6. Select Reboot – System
7. Setup the Phone

Install GApps 12 ( if necessary )

1. Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
2. Select Install – select BiTGApps-arm64-12.0.0-R39_signed.zip Swipe to confirm Flash
3. Select Reboot – System

Root Instructions ( if necessary )

• Enter TWRP Recovery Mode: Turn Power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When POCO logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up until TWRP Recovery appears.
• Install Magisk-v23.0.zip
• Reboot to System
• Connect Phone to Internet
• Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
• Done

Enter TWRP Recovery

You can enter TWRP recovery with 2 methods: via adb command by type “adb reboot recovery” and by pressing keys combinations ( Turn power off, press and hold volume up + Power key, when POCO logo appears release power key, keep pressing volume until TWRP recovery appears )
