How to Flash TWRP 3.6.0 for Redmi Note 9 Pro. It works for all miatoll devices ( curtana, excalibur, gram and joyeuse). Working: Decryption, Vibration, OTG, MTP, Sideloading, Backups and Restores, FastbootD, everything else. It does not work with MediaTek Redmi Note 9. Use it at your own risk! Follow the instruction carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!
Download: TWRP 3.6.0 for Redmi Note 9 Pro
- The bootloader must be unlocked, If not watch this video https://youtu.be/H_gNrIWftIU
- Download TWRP: twrp-3.6.0_11-miatoll.img copy to your adb folder to make it easy and I renamed it to twrp360miatoll.img
- Download Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip
- Download Magisk: Magisk-v23.0.apk or latest, rename it to Magisk-v23.0.zip, you can copy it to external recommended. You need install magisk to make TWRP installed permanently on your phone.
Install Instructions: TWRP 3.6.0 for Redmi Note 9 Pro
In Stock ROM
- Make sure the bootloader unlocked
- Enable USB Debugging in Developer Options
- Enter Fastboot Mode: Turn power off, Press and hold Volume Down + Power key until Fastboot mode appears
- Open CMD command, run as Administrator
- enter adb folder ( cd adb folder )
- Connect phone to computer
- type “fastboot flash recovery twrp360miatoll.img”
- Disconnect Phone from computer
- Enter TWRP Recovery first time: Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
- Install Magisk-v23.0.zip or latest ( to make TWRP permanent )
- Select Reboot – System
- Done
In Custom ROM
- Enter Fastboot Mode: Turn power off, Press and hold Volume Down + Power key until Fastboot mode appears
- Open CMD command, run as Administrator
- enter adb folder ( cd adb folder )
- Connect phone to computer
- type “fastboot flash recovery twrp360miatoll.img”
- Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
- Install Magisk-v23.0.zip or latest ( to make TWRP permanent )
- Select Reboot – System
- Done
How to flash rom using TWRP 3.6.0
- Enter TWRP recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
- Select Wipe – Advanced ( Dalvik, Cache, Data ), Swipe to wipe
- Select Install – select Nusantara_v4.0-1-12-surya-Gapps-10122021-OFFICIAL-1558.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Install – select Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Wipe – Format Data – type “yes” and confirm
- Select Reboot – System
Root Instructions if necessary
- Enter TWRP recovery: Turn power off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power key, When Redmi logo appears release all keys
- Select Install – select Magisk-v23.0.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
- Select Reboot – System
- Connect Phone to Internet
- Install Magisk app and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
- Done

Enter TWRP Recovery
You can enter TWRP recovery with 2 methods: via adb command by type “adb reboot recovery” and by pressing keys combinations ( Turn power off, press and hold volume up + Power key, when POCO logo appears release power key, keep pressing volume until TWRP recovery appears )
