TWRP v3.4.0 for Rooting Galaxy A50 Android 11 Without Reboot Recovery Powered by Refined Kernel v2.0

TWRP v3.4.0 Root for Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 11 One UI 3.1 powered By Refined Kernel v2.0.  Built-in Refined Kernel v2.0, Rebase CUBC kernel source. Pre-rooted with magisk v22 – Boots to system directly with root. Developed by mohitmallick17@XDA. It may be works for SM-A505F, SM-A505FN, SM-A505G, SM-A505GN.  Use it at your own risk! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Downloads

• Enable Developer Options: go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
• Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging options ( Settings -> Developer options )
• Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, If not read How to unlock Bootloader
• Download and Extract ODIN v3.13.1 from https://odindownload.com/SamsungOdin/
• Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phone Drivers
• Download RR-TWRP_v3.4.0_A505_CUBC_OneUI.tar
• Download multidisabler-samsung-2.6.zip or latest

Flashing TWRP v3.4.0 and Root Galaxy A50 Android 11:

1. 1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
      
   2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
   3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
   4. Flashing RR-TWRP_v3.4.0_A505_CUBC_OneUI.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
   5. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Don’t remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when Samsung Logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up key until TWRP Recovery Appears.
   6. Select Wipe -> Format data, type ‘yes’ and confirm
   7. Select Install – multidisabler-samsung-2.6.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
   8. Select Reboot to Recovery
   9. Select Reboot to System
   10. Force Restarting: When SAMSUNG logo appears wait for a few minutes then press and hold volume down + power key until the screen blank
   11. Setup the phone

Rooting if necessary

1. 1. Connect Phone to Internet
   2. Install and Open Magisk. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
   3. Done! You can use Root Checker to check it, Enjoy!

If something goes wrong and you want to unroot it, just flash the ROM to make it works again. Read How to flash Galaxy A50.

Notes / Warning!

1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
